About Jennifer Meier, MPT, CLT
Biography
Jennifer L. Meier, MPT, CLT became licensed in Physical Therapy in ‘96. She holds a B.S. from University of Pittsburgh and a Master’s of Physical Therapy from Slippery Rock University. Among her work experiences are: providing therapy at a multispecialty group that offers orthopedics, physiatry and chiropractic; treating athletes of all ages, including minor league athletes; and treating patients with orthopedic conditions, motor vehicle accident and work-related injuries, pre/post-operative conditions, pain, lymphedema, and breast cancer related impairments. Jen completed specialized training, to help breast cancer patients, in scar management, shoulder/neck pain, and post-op reconstruction. She became certified for lymphedema utilizing the Casley-Smith method as well as for performing functional capacity evaluations. Jen is also trained in Mulligan mobilizations, Muscle Energy Techniques and McKenzie approaches. Jen has spoken on many topics publicly, and has developed a community outreach program, specific to breast cancer patients, to increase awareness on scar management, lymphedema, and range of motion/strengthening exercises.
