Biography
Jennifer V. Cavanaugh, PTA earned an Associates degree in Physical Therapy Assistant at Springfield Technical Community College and became licensed in ‘95. She has worked in a variety of settings nationwide, including the Johnson Memorial Health Network outpatient physical therapy dept., treating patients with non/post-operative conditions, work-related and sports injuries, orthopedic injuries and chronic pain using modalities such as manual therapy, stretching/strengthening exercises, aquatic therapy. Jennifer completed specialized training in manual lymphatic drainage for treating lymphedema after breast cancer treatment. She is also trained in these manual techniques: Mulligan mobilizations, Cyriax and McKenzie approaches. Jennifer is certified in Graston Technique® as well.
